Crash and Burn

Sometimes what we think that is,
beyond our very imagination.
Crashes us when it’s not real,
Like a bombarded slingshot of a heavy stone.

It rips you apart, like lions tearing their preys.
And when it’s not enough,
You tried to stand steady and pray so that everything’s okay.

It’s impossible to change another person’s heart.
It’s not up to us.
But I’ll not give up for I believe that as long as I pray,
Change could occur.

Oh Allah, You’re the only one,
That can bring light to this servant.
For your sake, I have tried to penetrate light,
into your servant’s soul.

I’ve tried, I’ve seen it,
But it’s up to You,
If Your servant is worthy of it.
