Shining Armor

You will always be my shining white knight.
Shielding from life’s evil ways.
To tarnish the untouched.

And I stood under your shade.
Left you with the pushing waves.
Leaving me crushed.

Despite the aches and hurt and breaks.
I still went the other way.
Lost and confused.
Sick and suffocated.

And when the tides gone.
The waves no longer waves.
Calm and at peace.
You remained.

I crawled to your shade.
Shielding from life’s evil ways.
