Stormy seas water these eyes.
Blurred my vision,
From these tides.
Watch my hair frizz,
Crisp like crackers.
Cold, my heart freeze.
Moonlight casts a shadowy appear.
Untouchable to these hands.
Morning light and I’ll disappear.
Like starlight amazed from afar.
None can get close,
None will even try cause it’ll burn a scar.
Impossibility restricts hands from reaching.
Only some are dreamers,
Practicality breathes their thinking.
Seawater fills my lungs.
Salted my taste buds.
Rough and coarse to my tongue.
Like that lighthouse standing tall,
Helped incoming ships make their way.
But never seen one stay.
And only this is left: Sorry, moonlight won’t stay
